My Jesus I love thee

When I watched this video a few years ago, I heard this hymn for the very first time. I have loved this song since. But lately everywhere I turn, this song just gets played at the oddest places. Incidentally (or maybe not), it's also been my heart's cry lately..

If ever I'll love Thee, my Jesus 'tis now..not next year, not when I feel better, not when I'm stronger..'tis NOW. 'tis now that I have to choose to honor you, this minute, this hour..'tis now.

My Jesus, I love thee,
I know thou art mine;
for thee all the follies of sin I resign.
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art thou;
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

I love thee because thou hast first loved me,
and purchased my pardon on Calvary's tree;
I love thee for wearing the thorns on thy brow;
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

In mansions of glory and endless delight;
I'll ever adore thee in heaven so bright;
I'll sing with the glittering crown on my brow;
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.
