Well.. It's a perfectly good movie that was ruined by all the swearing! And it was absolutely unnessary. *sigh* Also ruined by gross scenes like that of the 'Scary Movie's. Totally un-classy.I don't know if it's just me but the kind of Hollywood movies I like tend to be going in a direction I do not like. Hopefully it's not a new trend. 'Don't mess with the Zohan' was painful to watch because it's offensive sexual bits were just plain offensive and almost pornographic. And now 'Tropic Thunder' is smeared in swearing and all the bits of horrible scenes.
The sad thing is with both movies, half the theatres were filled with kids. The parents must be thinking that since it's a comedy, it would be a great family movie to watch. *sigh*
Parents please be very careful when taking kids to the movies. Don't depend on the rating either. 'Don't mess with the Zohan' was rated 'For General viewing'.
